What we call here a
simbang gabi, church service will begin shortly a little after four or depending where one's locality or parish is. For 9 nines days Filipinos here do that tradition of waking up early going to church to hear mass and afterwards having a drink of hot cocoa an a bite of rice cakes, cassava cakes and other native sweets. They say if you completed the whole nine mornings your wish will come true or be granted. Heh, we're a catholic country and we believe in whatever divine miracle happens.
