MRT really sucks!

Well whaddaya know. I was just  ranting about MRT  few days back and guess what???  I was late last Friday all because of MRT! I swear it's the worst train station ever! ever! (well, I've never been to India, or Sri Lanka, or Bangladesh.... but still ) Argh! 45 mins queuing from the side of EDSA q.ave to the stairs...then 15 to 20 mins queuing up inside the platform.. Was there at 7:30, was able to ride  8: 50.. that fcking long! And as if it couldn't get any worse than that that,   rush hour 6 pm, Friday, after work, going home. STOP ENTRT in effect. I had to queue again for 15 mins just to go to the platform, then I took the round trip and by the time  we get to to the last station  which is TAFT,  instead of sitting comfortably, was told  to get out because the the shitty train had  problems! WTF! Long story short, I ended up standing the whole train ride!  got stuck with morons!

Well, with all the rant, I still prefer riding the train, than get stuck in EDSA.traffic.

Napster Documentary

Cool Documentary is from Alex Winter - who starred in Bill and Teds movies with Keanu Reeves

But Bill and Ted never saw anything as cool as Winter's documentary Downloaded: The Digital Revolution, which receives its world premiere March 10 at the interactive/music/film South by Southwest Festival in Austin. It tells how two teenagers, Shawn Fanning and Sean Parker, reinvented the music industry, got crushed and still managed to get rich with such game-changers as Facebook and Spotify.

Downloaded is about the epochal file-sharing service Napster, dreamed up in 1999, when Fanning was a college dropout living in the closet of his uncle's office.

Winter's film might remind people of the forgotten fact that it was Napster that inspired the first social networking giant Friendster, which Facebook supplanted. "Napster wasn't really about music," says Winter. "To me, Napster was a global community where there had never been one."  Read Full article via Hollywood Reporter

 I wanna see this film.

Solution sucks!

Two wrongs don't make it right but  folks at MRT doesn't see that way!  If you don't the ride MRT everyday rush hour morning and evening, and get stuck with (mostly) morons everyday, you wouldn't understand the rant! The point of riding  shitty MRT is to avoid  EDSA traffic, so why offer chartered bus (only for single journey tickets, mind you!) that will ply the EDSA route knowing it's traffic during rush hour?  Solution sucks! That's all they can offer to the commuters queuing for 30 mins everyday just to get inside the MRT platform and another 20 mins to get inside the train. How about skipping train the minute they see that platform packed with commuters. Ugh!
