What happened that day
It started out as fun...we were just read to go" ... wounded soldiers recount the events on the day the Chinook 'copter was attacked and brought down by missile and 15 americans were killed. One's thing for sure, they're glad and blessed to have survived, but most ready to "go back." and serve again if it needs be even as United States deploy a slightly smaller but still sizable force in Iraq

It's very noble and expected of a soldier..to serve their country even when faced with danges but how can they do that if they're always getting wounded and worse, getting killed by rampant attacks
