EBay Inc., the online auctioneer, wants to see if its popularity can translate to a bigger medium than the Internet: television....EBay views the show as a way to extend its brand and drive traffic to its Web sites, rather than make money directly from the show. "We're more concerned about building EBay," EBay spokesman Kevin Pursglove said.

Nothing wrong with that I think but..the website is like one of those "superstars off the net along with Yahoo, Amazon.com and others. People know about them already..well those who uses and surf the web regularly. Eh, like the people here will care if it's on the t.v or not! hahaha. Ack. Why the hell am I blogging about it? Hehe. Anyhow, whats the closest thing to EBay here? Bidshot I guess. Funny though..I've never been to their site.
