I saw this via Mashable How Social Media is Changing the Business of Television. That is so true.
The nightly new shows here have something new to offer the viewing public. See, every time I watch, I noticed that anchors have now been equip with iPads. Before they will just read the new paper and teleprompter. Now, they will will blah blah with the top headlines news and then flip their iPads, they instantly read reactions of views via twitter or FB thereby engaging the viewing public to participate. Socializing with everyone real time, we get to know the pulse and opinion. Pretty soon will probably have SNN... Social News Network. Heh.

iPad Launched....for the rich
Ready for take of...sales. iPad hits stores in the US. The techies embracing it. So what's the use of iPod, and iPhone and netbooks and laptops and mobile phones that can connect to the web? Are we supposed to carry a bond paper size er, like tabloid size techie tablet just to be hip?
I wish Steve Jobs and those geniuses at Apple can give us product to help better the lives of the poor instead of enriching the already well to do who can afford to waste $$$$ for their gadgets.
In other words create a product that we majority can afford to buy. Here in this country, if you own any Apple product.. you're a Mac fanatic and you speak of money. It's a status symbol. That's a fact.

Geek in the Blog
Microsoft unveiling it's new OS Windows 7 (build7100). I blogged about this some time in February and mentioned how it has so many editions: starter, home basic, home premium, professional, enterprise and the ultimate. Whew. Pick one there.
Anyway, Windows 7 RC (release candidate) available now for download but will expire 2010 and after that it will auto shut down every two hours before it's expiration. Ugh. There is also an XP mode that comes with this new OS. Read the CW link for more.

Of Netbooks, Windows 7, IE 8 and others
I'm turning geeky right now. Seriously, I've got too many tabs open with all geeky websites to view their geeky products and absorbing latest gadgets and innovations. This year is the year of smaller laptop. If you're wondering what a Netbook is obviously, it's a scale down version of a laptop. Whatever you call them, they're economical and easy on the budget. Asus probably started it all having that EEE pc. I did say economical, right? .not really just look at price of P series. What's economical about that? Majority are.. of course.
Since I'm still on budget constraint and saving for either x300 or the Mac Book Pro, I've decided I will get me a Netbook for now. I like it! I'm thinking of the Lenovo Ideapad or the the Vaio from Sony. I've been reading the reviews from different sites about the hottest Net books and which would be worth all that hard earned saving I'm gonna spend.
Cnet: HP mini 2140, Sony Series P series, Samsung NC10, HP Mini 1000, Asus N10 J-AI)
Fox tech: Dell Inspiron Mini 9, Asus Eee Pc 900, Lenovo Ideapad s10, MSI Megabook U10)
Best at CES 09 and Gizmodo.
I don't know what to pick. My budget will know though. Ha ha. I went to Sony Square and damn, I love that P series. It's by order basis though. There's a 65,000 pesos ($1400) and ($960) 45,000 pesos. Yikes. I'd just as well buy a MacBook pro.
Well If I'm to get a Netbook... it has to have the new Windows 7 but Windows has so many versions: Starter Edition, Home Basic, Home Premium, Professional, Enterprise and Ultimate.
I think for the Netbook it's the starter edition. Arg. I can only blog..no bucks yet to buy any...unless somebody out there wants to give me any I've mentioned here. Heh.

But I'd rather have these...
I'm thinking..if I were given a choice between cellphone or a D300 hands down I'd choose D300! Although they're different gadgets cos the latter is purely DSLR camera, I figured I could always get a cellphone and it doesn't have to be overrated one. But the camera...man, it's more expensive. If not that, perhaps I'd choose... maybe an X300 or Macbook Pro not MBA. =D
Btw, there is a D700 coming very soon as well.

One of these things is not like the other...
Cos I'm still awake and browsing and I'm thinking of getting a new cellphone. I've been saying that since last year but still haven't really bought anything. I don't think I'll get the S.E. (unless it's cheaper) but what the heck, I'll just blah blah blog.

Sony Ericsson 's C905 with 8.1 MP is coming very soon..like next month, I guess. Although if you go to the store, they already have the 5 MP model.
The camera in its slider body is indeed an 8.1-megapixel one, with xenon flash, auto-focus, face detection and image stabilization. The phone's also pretty full-featured, and is GPS-ready, with a 2.4-inch TFT screen and TV-out capability as we'd heard. So is it a camera with a bolt-on phone or the other way around?
Read more from Gizmodo and see all the full specs of the phone. He he. It's a Sony! Oh but Samsung is coming with an i850 8mp cam phone as well.
I like the MotoRCKR E8 though. I think it's because of the buttonless or haptic or whatever you call it thingie. Many were complaining that T-Mobile ruined it with software apps exlcusive to the cell. Well lucky us, we don't have that service here cos we only have Globe/TM and Smart and Sun.
Store here sell this phone for 14, 000- 15,000 pesos. I think. I think thinks cool except. I've never had Motorola Phone. Not sure if I want to. I kinda want to with this one.
And to complete the cell phone series, here's the latest from mobile leader Nokia.. the supernova 7610, 7510, 7310, and 7210 geared for women. Make me think of bubble gum. Shrugs.
For me though, I've said this a dozen times already that as long as I can call and send sms and save important messages, I'm cool with whatever model type of cellphones available.
I'm just doing this entry because.. I dunno. Nothing. eally. Everybody likes phones. Oops. I almost forgot about the iPhone 3G click the link (do'h) to see all the pics, reviews and apps.

LenovoX300 or MacBook Air?
Which would you pick? Here's the breakdown in comparison. Looks like LenovoX300 is winning.
The price is too way over the top though. Lenovo is about $3,000-full product- MBA, a little less..which roughly translate to more than 100,000 pesos to buy either of these two. Yayz.
By the way, my pick... the LenovoX300 or the MBA. I actually don't care. Heck, even the new Asus is okay.

Apple iPhone unveiled
Owning and having an iPhone (here, anyway) is just like showing status symbol. Just like owning a Mac and having an iPod is still a damn status symbol here!
The way I see it. Apple is first and foremost a computer company. They're not a cell phone one. They don't make phones. They make computers. They don't make mobile devices like Nokia or SE. Then again success of iPod has prompted Steve Jobs to procceed with launching the iPhone which is also now being called smartphone. It can do a lot of computer based stuff (which Nokie and SE and company already integrated to their mobile phones). The thing with iPhone and it's features..one probably has to have a Mac in order for the other features to work. Right. And then there's the price. Ugh. I'd rather have Mac than an iPhone (I'm wishful thinking here. Ha!) because like I said iPhone looks sleek and delicious and so fragile like.. the touchscreen- I have no keypad- type is cool. But.. I like having tactile buttons to touch instead of the screen. You know a lot of people use their phones with one hand especially while walking or on the move or something. The touch screen probably doesn't serve it's purpose. Brilliant interface though. The rest is alright.
I think Sony Ericsson and Nokia is still will lord it over the Cell phone market. But of course I could be wrong. I mean look at what happened with iPod.

Jetson life once again
Computer Electonic Show and Mac Expo on going now in Las Vegas and San Fransico showcasing what life would be like with new electronics and technology living. If you want to know the latest digital life, that's where you need to be. I wonder what new products will emerge as the must haves for the year. Hmm...
Pink Barbie DVD players. Touch-screen HP computers. Software that turns your iPod into a karaoke machine.
Apple's highly anticipated iTV, a set-top box that wirelessly streams movies, television shows and music from the computer to the television. Read more or view the gadgets from Gizmodo
Ah yes, the products of digital lifestyle . I think I'll just go watch Jetsons (I'd rather be at the CES and Mac gathering..but me is poor and hlafways around the word!) now and see the future once more.

Ahh, the Jetson life once more

In the future....
Trash cans will be Touchless!
When you move something about 6 inches from the lid, a magical AI Smart Chip II opens the lid and closes thanks to patented SilenX silent lid closing thing.
Uh huh. Comes in handy for carrying tons of crap. Order it here if you like.

We can now test water right in the comfort of our own hands! Ugh. Am I drinking shitty water full of bacteria? Lemme get my Water Qaulity Tester. Place a single drop of water from any source onto the device then it will display either a happy face or a sad face depending on the quality of water.
Oooh Happy face.. it's safe to drink! *Chug chug*.. Ahhh.
Being lazy or just cost cutting ? Bye bye fastfood crew hello Touch Screen Ordering. This is just a large touch screen where all of the ordering and paying happens. Yeah but what if the customer is blind!? Hello? Anybody here?!No more work for people who can't find work! Awww!

Well, doggone me!
I'll be damned! A stuffed dog webcam!
New design to put something different on top of your PC/notebook. The Look 312P is in the shape of a stuffed animal but has all the features you normally find in a web cam. We put the web camera in the nose because we believe that “high technology” should be more than just a product. You still get the same results.
Arf arf!! Talk about voyerism! Yikes.
And to quote gizmodo... "pay no attention to the vast collection of plush stuffed dogs scattered around my apartment." He he.
No wonder I don't like dogs oh and stuffed toys. Ha ha ha. Btw, now you know why it's called stuffed toys! Nyahahaha.

Hello? Your Phone is Calling your Car!
Hop in your car, turn the key and your phone book stares up at you from the liquid crystal display screen in your dashboard. Scroll through a list of missed calls or recently dialed numbers. Find the name you're looking for, press a button and the call rings through the car's sound system, all while your phone remains untouched in your jacket pocket. At the moment, you can find it only in 2005 Audi A6 and A8 models, and only if you use certain phones, including Palm One's popular Treo 650 P.D.A. phone.

Nice technology..if you're rich, lazy or forgetful :0) Oh and I don't have the car nor the phone.
